Easter Egg hunt with thousands in the park. We had over 1300 kids searching for eggs.

Big band sound with the Windham Community Swing Band. A free afternoon concert.
Little Red Wagon Theater Group - "Midsummer's Night Dream" - July 25, 2009
UNH's Little Red Wagon Theater Group on Saturday, July 25th at 10 performed "A Midsummer's Night Dream," a children's play for ages 5-10 years
Carter Mountain Brass Band - July 12, 2009
Carter Mountain Brass Band presented an updated version of a late 19th/early 20th century Sunday afternoon concert in the park, featuring old favorites - such as "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and "God Bless America"; show tunes - including "Selections from The Music Man" and "Theme from New York, New York"; in addition to traditional marches, a Polka medley and a Rumba.

June Bandstand Update and Park Clean Up
A park bench in memory of Officer Michael Briggs was recently installed near the bandstand. The bench will be dedicated at our Inaugural Band Concert on June 28th. Please stop awhile and contemplate how much our police officers do for us each day.
A wonderful crew from Shiloh Community Church in Manchester worked on a cleanup day in the park on May 31st. We extend our sincere thanks to all for their hard work".

Look at the progress on the bandstand! Thanks to a wet cleanup and the warm weather, the park is looking lovely and the bandstand is going to be ready for our first concert in June.

Our first time in a Christmas Parade complete with General John Stark himself, a minuteman, a silversmith, and the General's enemy, British General John Burgoyne. We also had great help handing candy out.

The tri-annual yard sale to benefit the Park. It's a great time with the week long collection of goods leading up to the sale, starting early in the morning.
Stark Park Movie Night showing Shrek, September 5th - 2008
Our first major showing was a huge success with over 100 viewers watching Shrek in the park. The weather was excellent and many families enjoyed the showing.
Windham Concert Band, August 24th - 2008
The fourth-time-is-a-charm concert after a rainy summer. A crowd of about 250 people turned out on a beautiful sunny day on Sunday, August 24th to enjoy a concert sponsored by the Friends of Stark Park. An enjoyable program of Broadway tunes, patriotic marches and lively music was provided by the Windham Concert Band.
Stark Park Movie Night showing Wargames, August 21th - 2008
Movie Night in Stark Park. The audience enjoyed our test run with the movie "War Games". More movies are planned, including "Shrek" on Friday, September 5th at 7:30 pm
Manchester Historic Association on Sunday, August 10th - 2008
A concert jointly sponsored by the Manchester Historic Association and the Friends of Stark Park was held on August 10th, 2008. The 12th NH Regiment Serenade Band entertained the audience with music of the Civil War, played on period instruments
